Gateway Men's Chorus, (GMC) invites you to come out for a night and join them for Holiday Hit Parade. This concert kicks off their exciting 23rd season at 8 p.m. December 11 and 12, 2009 at the Edison Theatre on the campus of Washington University in St. Louis.

With Dr. Jeffrey Carter returning to the podium and Al Fischer on piano, GMC is delighted to offer a diverse mix of holiday music sure to please any palate. "Audiences expect a different kind of holiday show from GMC and 2009's offering is guaranteed to exceed those expectations!" promises Carter.

Holiday Hit Parade's bright mix of music from all continents and religions make it a "must see" this holiday season. Traditional selections give way to unique takes on seasonal favorites. Singing along is expected and encouraged! Dancing in the seats and aisles may soon follow. In true GMC fashion, there is an ebb and flow to Holiday Hit Parade that will keep one guessing as to what comes next?!? The men warmly invite you to join them for the ride. GMC would like to provide a few cryptic hints: chipmunks; a buxom southern belle; put one foot in front of the other and a Hallelujah Chorus by monks who manage to maintain their vow of silence.
Intrigued? Gateway Men's Chorus thought you just might be!

"The holiday season brings forth such a wealth of emotions; selecting music appealing to everyone was a challenge. I feel we've come up with just the right recipe and can't wait to entertain you! All this points to Gateway Men's Chorus Holiday Hit Parade as THE place to be this December," adds Carter.

General admission seating is $25 and $20. Tickets are available online with NO ticket surcharge at www.gatewaymenschorus.org, from any chorus member, Botanicals Design Studio, Left Bank Books and Mokabe's. Discount seats for groups of 10 or more, students and senior citizens at just $15 are available by contacting the GMC office at 314-289-4169.

The men of the Gateway Men's Chorus sing to affirm the gay experience and promote a culture of diversity and acceptance. The Gateway Men's Chorus is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation.
