Janet Jackson's number one hit "Call On Me," from the album "20 Y.O.," has been chosen as the song dedicated to the city of St. Louis. Janet's NUMBER ONES: Up Close & Personal tour, is her largest ever world tour, celebrating 35 of her number ones hits. Janet will be dedicating a number one song to each of her fan suggested stops.

Janet will be performing at the Fox Theatre on March 31st. "I have always felt the love from St. Louis! I want my fans there to know that I appreciate their submissions asking me to bring Number Ones: Up Close and Personal to this exciting city. I'm answering their call, which is why I chose "Call On Me" as the song that I am dedicating to St. Louis. Can't wait to see you all there," said Janet.

Janet has also selected the first fan winner of the contest in voting for the cities. The winner in each city will be announced on www.JanetJackson.com and will receive an autographed copy of NUMBER ONES and her book "True You" (both in stores now). The contest saw fans make suggestions of what cities and countries Janet should perform her Number Ones: Up Close & Personal tour.

In addition to dedicating a hit single to each city, Janet is recognizing 20 people under 20 in every city on her tour, selecting those whose lives and work have enriched their communities in a major way. "I want to meet 20 leaders who are changing their community for the better. Please contact www.janetjackson.com so that I will know who is making a major difference in your community. I want to talk with up to 20 people under 20 in each city. I want them to be my guest at my show and they will come back stage as I learn from them how they are changing the world. If you know someone who is making a difference, please get in touch. You, and the person chosen, will get free tickets to the show, and be with me after, to celebrate their accomplishments," said Janet.

Janet recently starred in Tyler Perry's critically acclaimed motion picture, "For Colored Girls." Janet starred in, as well as co-wrote and produced the song, "Nothing'" for the film "Why Did I Get Married Too?." Janet's performance as Patricia in the film, earned her a NAACP Image Award Nomination for Best Actress. Janet's performance of "Nothing" achieved number one status on iTunes.

Janet's first book "True You," published by Karen Hunter Publishing, an imprint of Gallery Books at Simon & Schuster, currently holds the number one position on the New York Times Best Sellers List. "True You" chronicles Janet's lifelong struggles with weight and self-esteem. The book is a self-help guide where Janet used anecdotes from her life to illustrate the power of self-esteem and her struggles to achieve it.
