Full Casting Set for Macbeth, with Schreiber & Ehle

The complete cast is now set for the upcoming Public Theater Shakespeare in the Park production of Macbeth, which will begin performances at the Delacorte Theare in Central Park on June 13th for a run through July 7th.

Joining previously-announced Tony Award-winners Liev Schreiber in the title role and Jennifer Ehle as Lady Macbeth will be Joan MacIntosh, Ching Valdes-Aran, and Lynn Cohen as the Weird Sisters, Herb Foster as Duncan, Jacob Fishel as Malcolm, Pedro Pascal as Bloody Sergant/Murderer 2; Mark L. Montgomery as Lennox, Philip Goodwin as Ross, Teagle F. Bouegere as Banquo, Andrew McGinn as Angus/Murderer 1, Sterling K. Brown as Macduff, Sanjit De Silva as Donalbain, Graeme Malcolm as Seyton, Florencia Lozano as Lady Macduff, Tolan Aman as Boy. Seth Duerr, Amefika El-Amin, Stephanie Fieger, Hollie Hunt, Michael Markham, Lucas Near-Verbrugghe, and Clancy O'Connor will be featured in the ensemble.

Moises Kaufman (I Am My Own Wife, The Laramie Project) will direct the production of the Shakespeare tragedy, a tale of ambition and bloodshed.

Ehle, who recently starred in the Old Vic production of The Philadelphia Story, Ehle is an acclaimed stage and screen actress. She won the 2000 Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play for the revival of Tom Stoppard's The Real Thing, and most recently appeared on Broadway in Design for Living. Her film credits include Possession, Sunshine and Wilde, but she is perhaps best known for playing Elizabeth Bennet in the wildly popular 1996 A&E/BBC miniseries of "Pride and Prejudice." She also won a BAFTA for her portrayal of the willful Austen heroine.

Schreiber, who most recently won a Tony award on Broadway portraying Richard Roma in the Glengarry Glen Ross, has previously been seen on Broadway in In the Summer House and Betrayal. An acclaimed interpreted of Shakespeare, he has appeared off-Broadway (and four times at the Public Theater) in Henry V, Othello, Hamlet, Cymbeline, Macbeth, and The Tempest, among others. Schreiber's screen credits include the remake of The Manchurian Candidate, The Sum of All Fears, Kate & Leopold, Scream 3, Hamlet, Sphere, A Walk on the Moon and Big Night. He also recently directed an adaptation of Jonathan Safran Foer's best-selling novel Everything is Illuminated.

This summer, Meryl Streep will also return to the Delacorte Theatre in Tony Kushner's adaptation of Bertolt Brecht's Mother Courage, directed by George C. Wolfe, from August 8th through September 3rd.
